Models & Providers

Overview

Loop talks to OpenAI-compatible APIs. Presets are Soket, OpenRouter, and OpenAI. Any other endpoint is /login custom. Details and the models.json schema are in Providers.

To use Soket, sign up at console.soket.ai and create an API key. Paste it into /login soket, or export it before launch: SOKET_API_KEY (then TENSORSTUDIO_API_KEY, then LOOP_API_KEY). Other presets use OPENROUTER_API_KEY or OPENAI_API_KEY.

Nothing is selected until you pass --model or save a choice with /model.

Soket appears first in the picker. You can change models in the middle of a session.

Examples of base URLs:

Leave the API key empty when the server does not require one. Models come from /v1/models. To pin ids instead, add them under models in ~/.loop/agent/models.json. See Providers.
